Please discontinue retinols, Retin-A, tretinoin, adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, and other prescription exfoliating products at least 7–14 days before your peel. Avoid waxing, excessive exfoliation, and prolonged sun exposure for at least one week before your appointment. If you're unsure about a product, please contact us before your appointment.

Yes. Chemical peels can be performed year-round when the appropriate peel is selected and proper sun protection is followed. Daily sunscreen use and limiting sun exposure are essential before and after treatment.

Chemical peels may not be recommended if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have an active skin infection, sunburn, open wounds, active cold sores in the treatment area, or have recently used isotretinoin (Accutane). Your skin will be evaluated during your consultation to determine whether a chemical peel is appropriate for you.
